This is an extension of Jaracal Forum, Jaracal website, Jaracal online shop and Jaracal1, YouTube channel.

I will be writing mostly in Afrikaans and then some in English especially for my followers on You Tube Channel.

I am currently the Reserve General Manager of Laohu Valley Reserve a 30 000ha privately owned nature reserve where our main goal is to breed and rewild the worlds most endangered tiger sub species (Tigris Amoyensis) the South China Tiger.
The ranch spans both sides of the Gariep river in the upper regions of the Van der Kloof Dam. I am one of the most privileged persons on the planet with more than 38km of riverfront and access to the pristine waters of the Van der Kloof Dam.

I am a rancher myself and have a small ranch a short distance from Philippolis and I am an enthusiastic predator caller, hunter, fisherman (fly and artificial lures) and love the outdoors.

I hunted problem animals professionally between 1995 to 2009 and during that time I was blessed to meet my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I was reborn in 2004 and am a dedicated Christian. I will write about this in the “For the Sole”Category.
